Music Camp for Kids!
Music Camp is an exciting week-long summer camp full of fun, drama and music – so jump on board! Here at Oceanview, we invite kids from all over Palm Beach County to come spend a Summer week with us each July. Together we learn about creating an entire dramatic musical from the ‘ground’ up: doing lots of singing, dancing, crafting, staging, and of course, lots of DRAMA! Then we invite family, friends and the whole neighborhood in for the Big Show on Friday night. It’s a Musical Extravaganza! All done by kids!
Music Camp is for Completed 1st Graders through Completed 6th Graders. All campers receive a camp T-shirt, a listening CD, Song Lyric Sheets, Musical Book, snacks and beverage. Special needs and diets can be accommodated with advance notice. Typical camp hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm. The Friday night Show Time is 7:00 pm and Call Time for the children is 6:00 pm. Camp registration form, photo permission release and medical releases required for all children attending.
Music Camp 2017 was an amazing, fantastic show called “Back to the Cross”.

Abandoned long ago and nearly forgotten, the H/O-2000 is discovered by the kids in our story while attending the annual VBS program. A series of time-traveling escapades ensue, taking our intrepid gang of time-jumpers on a wild ride, immersing them in strange times and cultures (including the totally tubular 1980s, the roaring ‘20s, the Wild, Wild West, and even the Garden of Gethsemane!), all leading to a point of discovery about the importance of the Cross and the message of the Gospel.
This amazing, non-stop fun, 40 minute musical adventure has 11 main roles (6 girls, 5 boys, 4 can be either), 1 adult role (male), many additional/optional non-speaking roles if needed. Musical solos: 12 small solos, many additional optional solos if needed.
Parents and volunteers are needed in many areas, including: ~ Youth Camp Counselors ~ Adult Camp Counselors ~ Kitchen Crew ~ Lighting Techs ~ Arts & Crafts ~ Choreography ~ Music ~ Drama ~ Sound ~ Staging Design ~ Costumes ~ Props ~ Painting, and more!
Music Camp: One of the most hair-raising, spine-tingling, high-energy Camps around!
