Sacred Dance

Psalm 149:3 “Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and harp.”

Sacred dance is a form of worship intended to inspire and support the message of the service through dance in the same way a choir supports the message through singing.

Also known as “Liturgical Dance”, it has come to mean part of what we think of as “the liturgy” or the order of the worship service that has been convened and dedictated to God.

Therefore, a sacred dancer is one who expresses his or her faith through movement ministry in a public worship setting.

Adults and youth of any ability are invited to be a part of htis group. Experienc is welcomed, but not necessary.
